Privacy group NOYB filed a complaint against the European Union Commission Directorate-General for Migration and Home Affairs for targeted advertisements related to an EU proposal to prevent child sexual abuse, TechCrunch reports. NOYB claims the EU used targeted ads on X, formerly known as Twitter, against the Digital Services Act that prevents "the use of sensitive personal data for ad targeting purposes."
