Patreon, a subscriber-based platform for content creators, claimed the U.S. Video Privacy Protection Act violates the First Amendment right to truthful speech, MediaPost reports. Patreon was accused of violating the VPPA after the company allegedly disclosed information about consumers, including video choices through Meta Pixel tracking.
