A Planned Parenthood patient asked a U.S. District Court judge to issue an order barring Google from collecting sensitive medical data from healthcare providers as well as delete any data it already possesses, MediaPost reports. The patient filed a nationwide class-action complaint against the company earlier in May. Every time an individual utilizes these services to request treatment, make an appointment, or otherwise communicate with their healthcare provider, Google intercepts this data and invades the individual's privacy, the complaint alleges.
