Hong Kong's Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data raided WorldCoin's offices after it discovered the company allegedly collected users' iris scans, The Standard reports. The PCPD said the company's WorldID program, which scans participants' irises in exchange for a WorldCoin token, may have violated regulations in "collecting and handling sensitive personal data."
