Organizations are turning to "defense-in-depth" strategies to better secure their data stored on the cloud, TechTarget reports. Organizations relying solely on cloud service providers' own native tools to store data that is not stored locally were three times more likely to lose data in a breach compared to organizations that used a combination of CSP native tools and third-party cybersecurity tools.
