The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada announced Marc Chénier was appointed to the deputy commissioner and senior general counsel position. Privacy Commissioner Philippe Dufresne said the new position "reflects the importance of the Legal Services team to the work of the Office in a privacy landscape that is increasingly more challenging and complex."
