The Financial Times Editorial Board writes that plans to deploy COVID-19 immunity passports "need careful handling to avoid pitfalls," including those related to privacy. The board explained governments around the world are at different stages of passport planning or rollout, noting the upcoming debate on a potential EU passport scheme. "A (coordinated) international system would be preferable to a plethora of schemes," the board wrote, adding "it may be too late to achieve that in the short-term."
