In an op-ed for CyberScoop, Duke University Tech Policy Lab Graduate Research Assistant Brady Allen Kruse said the data broker industry "poses a huge risk to privacy and national security." Kruse believes U.S. Congress needs to ensure information acquired by data brokers is stored safely and clients are vetted before being allowed to purchase data.
