British Columbia's Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner published a series of best practices around common or integrated programs under the province's Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. As defined in the FIPPA, a CIPA authorizes parties to share information to provide various services. The OIPC outlines who can participate in a CIPA and the requirements to notify the agency of the development of the programs.
