As part of its Digital Economy Papers series, the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development released a report on emerging privacy-enhancing technologies. The report explores recent technological advancements, effectiveness of varying types of PETs, and current regulatory and policy approaches "to help privacy enforcement authorities and policy makers better understand how they can be used to enhance privacy and data protection, and to improve overall data governance."
