Reuters reports privacy rights group NOYB submitted a complaint to Spain's data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, alleging Ireland airline Ryanair violated the EU General Data Protection Regulation with its facial recognition use. NOYB claimed the airline's biometric verification process in flight bookings does not have a legal basis for processing.
