Privacy advocacy group NOYB accused Google-owned Fitbit of violating the EU General Data Protection Regulation in Austria, Italy and the Netherlands, Reuters reports. In complaints filed against Fitbit, NOYB alleged users are forced to consent to data transfers outside the EU and are not given the ability to withdraw consent.
