The Nigeria Data Protection Commission said it is investigating Meta for 14 alleged violations of the country's data privacy laws, IT Edge reports. It is the latest country to pursue action against the social media company for how it uses data for marketing purposes. The NDPC is also looking into privacy breaches connected to banks and online gaming platforms.
