Biometric Update reports 104 million people have registered for Nigeria's digital ID program, reaching nearly 70% of its 148 million registration goal. The country's National Data Protection Commission said, "a series of trainings will be conducted in order to ensure that personnel and licensees are abreast of the duty of care and the standard of care mandated by the Nigeria Data Protection Act."
