Science-fiction play “Private” by Mona Pirnot recently made its world debut at Washington, D.C.’s Mosaic Theater, The Washington Post reports. “Private” imagines a world where surveillance is so omnipresent, that privacy is commoditized. The story follows the relationship between Corbin, an engineer, and Georgia, an artist. Corbin was hired for a new job that allowed Georgia to quit her own and focus on her music, but he did not mention his employment was conditioned on giving up their privacy.
