Members of European Parliament Paul Tang and Kim Van Sparrentak wrote to the European Commission seeking clarity on the legality of Meta's "pay or OK" subscription model. The MEPs recently sent questions to European Commissioner for Internal Markets Thierry Breton regarding the model's data protection compliance and now feel "compelled to express concerns regarding the clarity and specificity of (Breton's) response."
