The leading Chinese financial data provider informed customers at the end of 2022 it would begin restricting access to "certain business and economic data" for offshore users, Reuters reports. The move by Wind Information came following a request by the Cyberspace Administration of China and the implementation of the agency’s new data rules that went into effect 1 Sept. 2022.
