Indonesia's Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Kominfo, announced ongoing investigations into 11 mobile applications over potential misuse of personal data. Kominfo gave the unnamed electronic system operator managing the apps a three-day window to rectify the alleged issues, but noncompliance will result in the apps being disabled on Apple and Android devices. While the misuses were not specified, Kominfo said the potential violations "are proven to have features that have the potential to commit personal data breaches."
