TechCrunch reports the High Court of Kenya barred cryptocurrency startup Worldcoin from collecting Kenyans' data and directed the company to preserve information collected from 19 April to 8 Aug. The action follows a petition filed by Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, which ordered Worldcoin's parent company, Tools for Humanity, to stop iris scans and personal data collection in May.
