Kazakhstan's Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry reintroduced draft amendments to its data protection legislation. The amendments would give citizens new data subject rights and ban the collection and dissemination of personal data from public resources. The amendments were crafted following a comment period from public and business representatives that lasted from March 19 to April 7.
