Italy's competition authority, the Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato, opened an investigation into alleged anti-competition violations stemming from Google's data portability practices. The AGCM noted Google has limited right to these portability limitations under Article 20 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
