Israel's Privacy Protection Authority released guidance on individuals' right to access personal data held about them under the Privacy Protection Law. The PPA sought to clarify obligations for the right to access in instances of exempted "databases of security authorities and other authorities defined by the law." The regulator clarified such exemptions should not prevent entities from examining access requests on an individual basis.
