Information and Privacy Commissioner of Ontario Patricia Kosseim provided an update on work in four strategic priority areas of focus identified one year ago. Kosseim said input was gathered from stakeholders, institutions and the public on the areas of focus: government privacy and transparency, children and youth in a digital world, trust in digital health, and next generation law enforcement. An ad hoc advisory committee was also formed and is now a permanent Strategic Advisory Council. An annual report will be released in June further detailing efforts.
