A bill proposed by state Sen. Erica Harriss, R-Ill., would require explicit content websites to verify a user's age before it can be used, Advantage News reports. The Illinois legislation would have businesses use "reasonable" verification methods, such as requiring a government-issued identification card, to ensure a person is 18 years or older.
