The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office launched its updated artificial intelligence and data protection risk toolkit. Auditing tool and procedures, general AI and data protection guidance, and other practical support tools are included in the toolkit, which is suited for professionals in compliance roles and technology specialists. The ICO said it understands "the distinct benefits that AI can bring, but also the risks it can pose" while noting the toolkit "provides a clear methodology to audit AI applications and ensure they process personal data fairly."
