The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office issued a formal reprimand to the National Health Service in Lanarkshire for reportedly sharing patient data over WhatsApp. The ICO found 26 NHS Lanarkshire staff had access to a WhatsApp group where patient data was entered more than 500 times between April 2020 and April 2022.
