The U.K. Information Commissioner’s Office's Regulatory Sandbox selected three data-sharing projects aimed at protecting those vulnerable to online gambling, supporting ex-servicemen and -women, as well as fighting against cybercriminals. The sandbox helps organizations explore new ways of using personal data with appropriate protections and safeguards in place. “Our regulatory sandbox helps organisations put data protection at the heart of their projects so people’s information is protected when used and shared,” ICO Acting Director of Regulatory Assurance Anulka Clarke said.
