The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office reminded app developers of their obligations to protect users' privacy following a review of fertility apps' data processing features. The ICO said app developers should be transparent in how they use personal information, obtain valid consent, establish a lawful basis for processing personal data and be accountable to their users.
