The U.K. Information Commissioner's Office approved the first certification scheme criteria for the U.K. General Data Protection Regulation. The ICO approved three schemes, one of which is a standard to ensure personal data is handled properly when IT equipment is reused or destroyed. The other two schemes involve age assurances and children's privacy.
