IAB Europe's Transparency and Consent Framework Steering Group released its Transparency and Consent Framework Version 2.2. The central policy amendments include removing the legitimate interest legal basis for advertising and content personalization, improving information given to end-users and requiring vendors to provide additional information on their data processing activities. The framework also features new technical specifications, such as "deprecation of the getTCData and requirement for vendors to use eventListeners, where applicable."
