Interactive Advertising Bureau Canada has released the draft policies for the Canadian Transparency Consent Framework. The framework includes policies for vendors, publishers and consent management platforms and a section on interactions with users. A working group was formed in 2020 to adapt the IAB Europe Transparency and Consent Framework to requirements in the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act in anticipation of privacy law reform in Canada. IAB Canada is accepting public comments on the framework until March 20.
