Hong Kong's Cyberport reported a ransomware attack involving 400 gigabytes of personal information, The South China Morning Post reports. The data accessed includes bank account information and soft copies of ID cards belonging to staff, former workers and job applicants. The data is available for public bidding at USD300,000 while also being offered back to Cyberport at the same price. Cyberport defended its decision to withhold breach details upon initial discovery.
