Across Oceania, more than half of privacy professionals anticipate a reduction in their budgets in 2024, eCommerce News reports, citing a survey conducted by ISACA, an international IT governance professional association. The ISACA Privacy Practice 2024 survey found approximately one third of organizations said it is simple to navigate their privacy responsibilities. Additionally, 56% of privacy professionals in Oceania predicted a decrease in their budget. Forty three percent of global respondents believed their privacy budget was underfunded.
