Euractiv reports harmonization of the EU General Data Protection Regulation could solve questions around the secondary use of health data under the proposed European Health Data Space. Joint Action Towards the European Health Data Space coordinator Markus Kalliola said the EHDS offers an opportunity to "harmonise" practices under the GDPR and will "help the member states going forward nationally and then in the whole union."
