U.K. Government Communications Headquarters Director Jeremy Fleming warns the West faces a "moment of reckoning" around technology and security, BBC News reports. Fleming said Western countries need to evolve their approach to technology to keep pace with other countries, such as China, citing smart cities as a particular example. "The risk is that the technology is implemented in a way in which we can't assure its security," Fleming said.
