U.S. Federal Trade Commissioner Noah Phillips will resign from his post this fall, Politico reports. Phillips, one of two Republican commissioners, informed the FTC of his plans to leave but did not offer an exact date for his departure. The memo Phillips provided the agency noted family prioritization was the biggest factor for resigning, but he also alleged issues within the agency. Phillips said he's tried to "bring to light the tradeoffs the commission faces" and "conversation lately has not accounted for the serious discussion of counterargument."
