Reuters reports the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana blocked a ban on TikTok that was set to take effect in Montana 1 Jan. 2024. The court ruled the ban infringed upon TikTok users' First Amendment right to free speech. In his decision, Judge Donald Molloy said the ban passed by the Montana Legislature and signed by the governor "violates the Constitution in more ways than one" and "oversteps state power."
