AnyVision Interactive Technologies, an Israel-based facial recognition company, picked up $235 million in funding from a group of investors led by SoftBank, The Wall Street Journal reports. SoftBank Investment Advisers Partner Anthony Doeh said AnyVision's technology is "uniquely placed to redefine physical environment analytics across numerous industries." AnyVision intends to use the new funding to expand its market into the U.S.
