Facebook has started a Special Operations Center to monitor posts coming out of Ukraine amid the ongoing invasion by Russia, The Hill reports. Facebook Head of Security Nathaniel Gleicher said in a Tweet that the Special Operations Center could respond in “real time” and is staffed by native speakers. The company will also allow users to lock their profiles for an additional security feature. Facebook created a similar operations center for Afghanistan last year during the American withdrawal from the country.
