The European Commission has given WhatsApp one month to explain recent changes to its privacy notice and ensure its compliance with EU law, Bloomberg reports. EU Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders said WhatsApp has until the end of February to address concerns over a lack of information given to consumers about the new terms of services. “WhatsApp must ensure that users understand what they agree to and how their personal data is used, in particular where it is shared with business partners,” Reynders said.
