The European Data Protection Board announced guidelines for calculating administrative fines under the EU General Data Protection Regulation will be discussed during its May 12 plenary session. The EDPB will also discuss guidelines around law enforcement’s use of facial recognition technology and the upcoming June conference “The Future of Data Protection — Effective enforcement in the digital world.”
