The European Data Protection Board approved its section of a European Commission report examining the application of the General Data Protection Regulation over the last five years. The report, discussed during the latest EDPB plenary meeting, identifies several key challenges and called for EU legislative bodies to adopt rules on streamlined cross-border enforcement. However, the report stops short of calling for revising the GDPR as currently constituted.
