The European Data Protection Board announced draft guidelines for supervisory authority cooperation and the one-stop shop enforcement mechanism under Article 60 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The EDPB said the guidance will help authorities "interpret and apply their own national procedures in such a way that it conforms to and fits in the cooperation under the one-stop-shop mechanism." The board also took up draft guidance on "dark patterns" in social media platforms that included practical recommendations to platform designers and users on how to assess or avoid the deceptive practices.
