The Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario reporting a COVID-19 case improperly disclosed the personal information of hundreds of students and parents Oct. 30 through email, the Ottawa Citizen reports. The email contained a link that publicly shared information on St. Joseph Catholic Secondary School students, including names, addresses and contact information, which was severed once the school board learned of the breach. The school board confirmed the breach was a result of human error.
