Director of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Consumer Protection Samuel Levine warned the agency is "not afraid to take companies to court" over data practices, Axios reports. Levine also said "there's no pause button" on FTC consent decrees and, while he did not comment specifically on Twitter's consent decree, Levine said the agency repeatedly sees "business models that rely on harvesting our data and making it available to advertisers." He said the FTC's objective "is trying to reverse those incentives."
