Denmark's data protection authority, Datatilsynet, announced guidance on the use of closed-circuit television by private companies. Datatilsynet said the guidelines aim to "provide a comprehensive overview of which rules companies should be particularly aware of," including notification of data collection by CCTV and obligations for storage and retention of that data.
