Data scraped from 2.6 million Instagram and TikTok users was accidentally exposed online for more than a month by an analytics firm, Infosecurity Magazine reports. Online safety review site SafetyDetectives discovered the data on a server without any protections and found it belonged to marketing insight firm IGBlade. The scraped data included names, usernames, profile pictures, “about” details, email addresses, phone numbers and location data. Meanwhile, the data leak of 100,000 Missouri teachers' information, including social security numbers, will cost the state an estimated $50 million, including the cost of credit monitoring, AP News reports.
