Denmark's data protection authority, Datatilsynet, announced the creation of a new portal to view data breach statistics. The regulator said statistics posted include "an overview of the total number of reported breaches, which types of breaches are reported and which sectors report them, among other things." Portal project manager Martin Schadegg added the statistics put Datatilsynet "in a better position to assess where there may be a need for more guidance or closer supervision."
