The Danish data protection authority, Datatilsynet, issued a notice on the EU and U.S.'s agreement on the new Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework saying the agreement in principle is “not yet so concrete that it makes any difference to organizations that transfer personal data to the United States.” Companies that wish to transfer personal data to the U.S. “must therefore continue to establish a possible transfer basis,” the DPA said, “because there is no new transfer basis and adequacy assessment yet.”
