The Canada Revenue Agency locked more than 800,000 individuals out of its online platform following a data breach, CBC News reports. An investigation found "unauthorized third parties" may have obtained a number of usernames and passwords. The agency said the incident may have been caused by an external data breach or an email phishing scam. The CRA has outlined instructions for affected individuals to regain access to their accounts.
